Want to join me on a journey towards a healthier lifestyle? Dive in as I share with you the top 3 changes I've incorporated into my daily routine to help me embrace a healthier lifestyle.

1. Whole Food Diet

The biggest change for me has been transitioning to a whole food diet. I've cut out gluten (soooo hard for me because I LOVE bread, pasta...GLUTEN lol), processed sugars and processed foods. I've been focusing on consuming fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, nuts and fresh juice! I literally accidentally lost 10lbs doing this. Losing weight was not the goal, buuuut I can see my abs now, so...it's a win! .

2. Active Daily Routine

I walk at least 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week on my walking pad, and do pilates at home on my reformer machine 3-5 days a week. Regular activity helps reduce the risk of chronic diseases, reduces stress and anxiety, and aids in better sleep. I mean, the benefit of better sleep alone is enough for me to keep going.

3. Prioritizing Self-Care

Self care can look differently for everyone as there are many ways to practice and embrace it. I am the strong friend and family member. I am always pouring from my cup, but seldom is my cup filled in return. For me, practicing self care has been me setting boundaries, saying no, letting GO, and reciprocity! I'm no longer taking on more than I have the bandwidth for. If something won't matter in 5 minutes, I no longer harp on it & let it ruin my entire day. I'm no longer pouring into cups that don't pour into mine when needed. This has helped reduce stress and anxiety.

So, what healthy habit will you start today? Let me know in the comments below!

I love that you’ve made movement a regular rhythm in your routine. I KNOW I feel my best when I move even if other areas are out of balance, but I tend to slip into procrastination and plain laziness with movement. I recently joined a fitness club and just this week started personal training to help keep me accountable to moving my body. Thinking of starting a Whole Foods diet next year because you make it look so delicious 😋. Do you track any macros?
